Glenariffe pastoral lease confined to hillside above green flats. All hillside in view proposed for freehold, except gully left of centre. This is proposed conservation area CA3. Powerhouse Stream left of centre. Main proposed conservation area CA1 above obvious oversown belt (green/brown) at wing level. Small conservation area CA2 proposed below road, left of gully outlet. Glenrock Station homestead centre. Flats already freehold.

 

Glenariffe pastoral lease on hillside above flats left of Glenrock Stream gorge (centre) and continues to high country left of stream. Leasehold continues across lower foothills right of Glenrock Stream (but not to tops). Public access easement proposed within Glenrock Stream gorge. Flats already freehold.

 

Glenariffe pastoral lease confined to oversown hill country to right of Glenrock Stream (not high country) and excludes green flats left and centre (already freehold). Lease then extends to right to the brown flats including to the bank of the Rakaia River foreground. (Former) salmon research station (now Rakaia Salmon) centre foreground. Glenariffe homestead in trees right of centre.

 

Glenariffe homestead far right. Glenrock Stream left of centre background. High country left of Glenrock Stream all proposed conservation area CA1 above oversown hillside (green/brown). Extensive foreground flats in pastoral lease and proposed for freeholding. Green flats already freehold.
