PANZ enjoys popular support, but in a politically hostile environment.
The support comes from a diverse range of land, freshwater, marine, and conservation groups, and individuals, throughout New Zealand and overseas. Approximately 200 non-government organisations and 800 individuals support us. The combined membership of these groups, allowing for overlap, is equivalent to approximately 200,000 people, or 12% of the NZ population.
Despite our large numerical support, we are an underfunded, bare-bones organisation.
If you think we are a worthwhile enterprise, we need your support to ensure that our work continues.
PANZ supporters receive our newsletter 'Public Access' free, plus campaign alerts on major issues as they arise. Our newsletters, monographs, and other publications are also available for purchase. All are also available free from this site.
Anyone who agrees with our objectives is invited to support us in our mission.
